Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra : Rediscovery
New Zealand conductor Holly Mathieson returns to the podium for the APO. Gershwin’s breezy concerto, performed by NZ Trio’s pianist Somi Kim is featured in between Bologne, Symphony No.1 and Farrenc, Symphony No.3.
Bach Musica NZ : Mozart Requiem & Grieg Piano Concerto
Mozart’s famous and mysterious Requiem, performed by Bach Musica NZ’s choir and orchestra; and NZ star Tony Yan Tong Chen, winner of the 2019 Wallace Piano Competition, playing Grieg’s Piano Concerto.
St Matthews Chamber Orchestra & Somi Kim : Rach 2
This concert is held as part of the St Matthews Chamber Orchestra 2021 Concert Series. Somi Kim performs Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2 with St Matthews Chamber Orchestra.
NZSO Podium Series : Firebird (Auckland)
On the 50th anniversary of Stravinsky’s death, the NZSO pays tribute to the ground-breaking composer with Firebird. Also features international pianist Diedre Irons playing Mozart Piano Concerto No. 23 in A Major and Buzzard by New Zealand-born Canadian composer Juliet Palmer.

Stratus is the first of NZ trio’s 2021 subscription series. Performs works by Rachmaninoff, Haydn, Suk, Cowan, de Lautour (new commission) and Chausson.

NZ TRIO Ballet Collective Aotearoa : A Subtle Dances
Subtle Dances is a programme of new works created by three of New Zealand's leading contemporary ballet choreographers. NZTrio will perform live John Psathas’ work Helix, Claire Cowan’s Subtle Dances (commissioned by NZTrio) and music by Rhian Sheehan, arranged for NZTrio by Ryan Youens.
