The evening -

7.30pm - Doors open. Enjoy a drink and sweet treat on arrival (included in your ticket price)

8.00pm - Concert starts

The music -

An evening of exquisite solo piano music to nourish the soul. You'll be taken on a journey with brand new compositions by composer and pianist Gabrielle Peake. The evening will conclude with music enveloped with soul, intimacy, rawness and beauty by composers Debussy, Chopin and Rachmaninoff.

The composer/pianist -

Formerly from the Waikato, Peake currently resides in Auckland New Zealand, after moving up to complete her Masters in Piano Perfomance in 2011. Her combination of classical training and love of minimalist and cinematic music has helped define a sound that transcends boundaries and genres with a solo piano. Through a beautiful collision of classical and contemporary influences, Peake is interested in exploring a voice in music that expresses emotion through art where words struggle.

For a sneak preview as to what to expect, you can listen to some of Peake's music here.

In light of COVID -

In the event that Auckland goes into a Level 3 lockdown, this concert will move online. Whilst tickets are non-refundable, ticketholders will receieve a link to the online performance to enjoy this music from the comfort of their own home.

All ticket proceeds will be donated to Tearfund.
