Linda Lin
Born in China, where Linda began learning the piano at the age of 5. By the age of 10, Linda attended the prestigious affiliated Central Conservatory of Beijing, where she studied with professor AiPing Jin. In 2002, Linda was awarded first prize in the Xinghai competition in Beijing, later in the year she won the hainan regional competition and further competed with other contestants from 31 zones nationally in Hong Kong where she received 2nd place.
In 2015, Linda completed her Master of Music with First Class Honours in Piano Performance at the University of Auckland under the tutelage of Rae De Lisle and Stephen De Pledge. Linda was a semifinalist in the Wallace Piano Competition in the same year and has participated in Masterclasses with Bryan Sayer, Read Gainsford (Florida University) and Glenn Riddle (Melbourne Conservatorium of Music).
Linda has been working as a professional piano teacher and accompanist for the past 10 years. As a much sought-after teacher, her students has had numerous success in exams, including overall top mark in ABRSM exams, school and regional competition prizes and acceptance into University of Auckland Piano Performance Major.
